There are two types of receipt printers that work with Millennium, thermal or plain paper. Before ordering, you must decide which type is best for your circulation desk environment. Receipt printers can be ordered through the OSL office. Contact Richard Payette for the latest information on models and pricing. Supplies of thermal printer rolls can be ordered from Elaine Clark.

Thermal receipt printer

Uses rolls of fax-style coated paper
Very quiet operation
Auto paper cutter
Paper is more expensive than plain paper and requires special order
No additional supplies required

Plain paper receipt printer

Uses standard 3" adding machine paper
Noisier than thermal printer
Purchase paper at any office supply store
Also requires replacement of ink ribbons (typically every month or two).
